BMW 530 Specification, Review. The car will go on sale this year in China, powered by a newly developed 1.5-liter turbo four-cylinder rated at 136 horsepower and 148 pound-feet (200 Nm) of torque. Other engines that could end up under the bonnet could include a 1.8-liter, in both normally aspirated and turbocharged forms.

The 530 shows strong BMW influences, which are profound and pronounced, as Brilliance takes great pride in being the Chinese partner of the German luxury car maker.

In 2010, Brilliance apparently got to work on a new platform that will sit higher than the BS4 and FSV compact sedans and will be considered a sports platform, taking the best from the BS4 and the best from the Brilliance Coupe to make a compact sports sedan. The new platform will form the basis of a new SUV that is expected to make an appearance towards the end of 2011.
